McClaren keeps faith with Robinson

England manager has announced that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paul Robinson will start for England on Saturday for the crunch game agains Estonia despite several high profile clangers for Spurs and England. 

"It doesn't bother me at all. He starts on Saturday," McClaren said. "Sometimes players go through a bad spell and have bad games but you have got to have belief and faith and trust in your squads."

"Everyone is human and everyone makes mistakes, but ultimately it is my decision, I trust Paul Robinson. I wouldn't play him otherwise."

McClaren's confidence comes from the fact that dispite his recient club form he had only conceeded 2 goals in nine international qualifiers.
